Songcheck (4) Portugal "Quero Ser Tua"

Portugal this year is represented by Suzy with her song "Quero Ser Tua", she will sing in the first semifinal on start number 13, not a bad number, it´s at the end of the show, maybe that can be the chance for Portugal or not? Its a very fast up tempo song with a nice break at the ending part, but the whole song is very easy and not very special and not a song with a high quality. I must say that I don´t see the final for her, but there everytime surprises.

Now to my rating:

Song: 2/5

The song is not very new or special, but it´s an average up tempo song with a nice break at the end. So 2 points.

Voice: 2,5/5

Like every voice that is not very nice, but also not very bad, so the middle - 2,5 points!

Live Performance: 3/5

She dances to the song and she´s very pretty, but she needs something special, that the spectators remembers, because she needs the televoting point, because I think that she don´t get much jury points.

Total: 7,5/15

Qualification chance: She has not a very high chance to qualify, but maybe she does something special on stage that the people at home really like, then she can qualify, but only with luck on the 10th place. So I give her qualification chance of 20%.

Songcheck (3) Russia "Shine"

This year Russia starts withe the mid-tempo song "Shine" , the Tolmachevy Sisters will sing it, but its not the best that Russia ever send. Its a very normal song and when you listen to it, you think that you listen this before, thats not bad, because so you remember it. I can say that it doesn´t win, but the final would be save.

Now to my rating:

Voice: 4/5

They have nice voices.

Song: 4/5

Its a very easy song, but it´s great and if they make a good gig, the people will like it.

Live performance: 3,5/5

They have good live performances, but I think they are a bit young to make a very emotional and special gig, so 3,5 points.

Total: 11,5/15

Qualification chance: I think they will qualify this year, because they are in the final every year, Russia has a nice qualification rate. Furthermore it is not a bad song, I really like it. So I give them a qualification chance of 90%. So its really save that we see Shine in the grand final.

Songcheck (2) Ukraine "Tick-Tock"

This year Ukraine is represented by Maria Yaremchuk with the pop song "Tick-Tock". Its a very catchy song, you remember the refrain after listen to it. Its not a very different or special song, but it makes fun to listen this song. I think that she will get lots of televoting points in the semifinal.

Now to my rating:

Voice: 3/5

She has not a very different or special voice, but in the live version of Tick-Tock (old version) she sings not bad.

Song: 3,5/5

Its a very good song that you can remember till the voting starts, so you will maybe vote for her and I think lots of young people like that pop song, so they will vote for her.

Live performance: 4/5

She sings good enough and she sings very emotional, thats a important thing, that a good song needs to get televoting points. Furthermore she is a very pretty woman.

Total: 10,5/15

Qualification chance: She has a very good chance to qualify for the final, because the people at home will vote for her, but I dont know how the jurys will rate the song. So I give her a qualification chance of 80%.

Songcheck (1) San Marino "Maybe"

Valentina Monetta trys it again this year with her song "Maybe", written by Ralph Siegel, who also write her entry last year "Vola". Maybe is a ballad and in my opinion its very nice song, I like it, but are there people who vote for her? Last year with Vola, she has no luck because she placed 11th in the semifinal. But Maybe she can qualify this year ;-)

Now to my rating:

Voice: 4,5/5        She has an amazing voice, remember Crisalide last year, a                                                              very powerful voice and an emotional gig.

Song:  4/5           Its not a very different song, but Ralph Siegel made a good work and
                             its a very harmonical song.

Live performance: Theres no live version of Maybe, but when she sings as good as 2013,
it would be very nice, so 4,5 points.

           4,5/5

Total: 13/15

Qualification chance: I think it would be not easy, because in her Semifinal there are lots of other slowly songs, for example: Belgium, Montenegro, Azerbaijan and Sweden. So I give San Marino a qualify chance of 50%, because the song is good and she has a great voice.

Today: The Grand Final Who will win?

Today at 21.00 P.M. the grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest will start. But who will win tonight? Denmark, Ukraine, Russia, Anouk from Netherlands or Azerbaijan? Norway?

Thats my opinion for tonight:
1. Denmark
2. Ukraine
3. Netherlands
4.Norway
5. Malta (Surprise but I think he will get lots of Televoting points!

Why Denmark will win?
The song has very different elements, for example the flute in the song I like very much. I think she will win the televoting and about the jury, I cant say something. The jurys this year are very special (crazy)
, for example the qualifiers: Armenia, Belgium, Lithuania and Romania. I think that the jury push them into the final. I hope she will win and not a song who the jurys push with lots of points to win, that the televoters dont want. lets see what happen tonight.

Songcheck (2): Russia "What If"

Russia sings a very nice ballad this year. I like the song and it qualified to the final.
Dina Garipova is her name, she has a wonderful strong voice.
Her my result:

Voice: 9/10                Very strong voice. One of the best this year.
Song: 9/10                 Beautiful ballad, Its like a ballad from the 80s. Very good!
Performance: 8/10    I like that the audience arms are light up with this rings.                                  I dont like the Background singer, she dont have stood behind her! Better they stand on her side.

Total: 26/30

She will make it to the Top 10 in the final, maybe she can also be the winner;-). Lets see...

Songcheck (1): Belgium "Love Kills"

The singer of the song is Roberto Bellarosa and he sings for Belgium.
He qualified for the final, it was a surprise for me.

Now my result of the song:
Voice: 6/10               He has not a so good voice, but its okay.
Song:  6/10               No very special song, so 6 points.
Performance: 4/10   Better without dancers!!! Blue screen in the backround, I found good.

Total: 16/30

I think in the final he will be around place 15 - 20.
